Video game

Arknights: Endfield is an upcoming open-world video game. It is a spinoff of Arknights. The game is a free-to-play game with paid content and will be released globally on multiple platforms including PC, PS5 and mobile.

Synopsis

The story of Arknights: Endfield takes place on a planet called “Talos-II”, and the player will be the administrator of the “Agreement Recovery Department” of the “Final Earth Industry”, and gradually explore the open area according to the guidelines. Talos-II is a world of natural disasters and crises. There is a dangerous supernatural disaster called “Erosion” on Talos-II, which causes distorted environments and abnormal physical phenomena in the eroded areas. Much of Talos-II is a wilderness and no-man’s land waiting to be explored and explored, and the creature Angel is one of the dangers of the wilderness, with the pioneers belonging to different nations and organizations, cooperating and competing with each other on a regular basis.[2][3]

Gameplay

Similar to other games, Arknights: Endfield consists of defeating monsters and collecting items.[4]

Development

On March 10, 2022, HyperGryph opened official accounts of Arknights: Endfield.[5][6] On March 16, the pilot trailer was released, and the official multi-language website was announced, where players could reserve the game on the official website, and the graphic on the back of the website showed a countdown to 48:00:00, which indicated that the official gameplay video would be released in 2 days.[7][8]

Release

As of January 2025, Arknights: Endfield hasn’t announced an official release date yet since first closed beta test.[9]
