But the song from Staind So Far Away was released on 17th June 2003 ! Spirit of Metal says that !!! It’s clear to me ! I don’t understand why Wikipedia gives me -243 points for that ! It’s nonsense ! When Spirit Of Metal says it was released on 17th June 2003, then it was released on 17th June 2003. It’s musical webpage, so I guess they don’t lie. Spirit of Metal is for sure an unreliable source. Please read Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. Spirit of Metal is listed under unreliable sources because it is a self-published source. No problem. I understand that finding sources for singles that were released 20 years ago is very hard. That’s why they are more contested than singles released today. I recommend using Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources or Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources as a guideline if you aren’t sure if a source is reliable or not. It is likely that if you do find a source to support your changes that it won’t be in either one of these guidelines I provided. But, if these guidelines don’t help you with finding sources for single release dates, I hope they will be useful for anything you do music related on Wikipedia. I’m sure they will because you do seem to focus on music related article like myself. I always keep these two handy on my user page so they are always accessible.
