United States Army officer (1908–2004)

Louis Watson Truman (20 June 1908 – 2 December 2004) was a lieutenant general in the United States Army who commanded the Third United States Army from 1965 to 1967.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Truman enlisted in the Missouri National Guard in 1926. Nominated to the United States Military Academy in 1928, Truman graduated in 1932 and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the infantry branch.
